FALLEN HAIR

is an artistic project, using different media, looking at perspectives on hair that has fallen. The project consists of three parts. Drawings of braids and locks involuntarily cut off. In an essay the artist’s experiences are mixed with historical references and thoughts about the changed status of the fallen strands and their symbolic power. In a series of jewellery the artist’s hair is used as a material among others.
