Sculpture placed in a Library/Media room. Consists of two parts, one connected to the wall and one free standing. They are made in solid wood and painted with linseed oil paint in layers of different colors. The sculptures are meant to sit on / play with and by being used slowly new colors will appear.
Korsa spår (Crossing tracks)
In 2005 I had the opportunity to have a residency at a housing company in Gothenburg. The residency aimed to make artistic interactions with the employees: administration, care taking and gardeners. One of the projects became a piece that is know permanent in their meeting and lunch room. The piece was made as a reconstruction of how the personnel moved over one specific place during one specific day, by foot or on / with a working vehicle. Every person had their own color when crossing a large canvas. The canvas was cut in pieces, set and recomposed to fit the wall.
